I'm Max.

This website is a fancy linktree to my projects and social media.

I'm an independent software engineer with a lot of random interests. I love making things.

I do a lot of stuff with artificial life, artificial intelligence, web development, games, simulations, and more.

My main fascination is emergent complexity, which permeates every inch of this weird universe. Simple things come together to make complex things. Coding is an especially powerful way to explore emergence, so that's what this website is dedicated to.

On AI usage: I avoid AI images, video, music, writing, and voice-over. I do lean heavily into AI for code generation, and many of these websites are 100% AI generated. I use chatbots for advice and reviewing video scripts, but all writing is my own words.
